LH – Haha, yes, Do It Right The First Time! It’s one of our core beliefs and helps drive everything we do.
IG – Sounds great, but doesn’t everyone strive for that?
LH – Well, unfortunately no. We see companies and people compromising. Many seem to adopt a That’s Close Enough attitude.
IG – True. How do you differ?
LH – It’s a cultural thing with H&A. We take the time to know each project and what’s required of every process along the way.
IG – But who defines what’s “right?”
LH – We ALL do, collectively – the customer and H&A. It’s a matter of listening and aligning all of the players with a stake in the project.
IG – Sounds awfully time-consuming.
LH – It can be, but it’s a priority for EVERY H&A initiative. Collectively, our mission is to Do It Right The First Time…and our customers love our relentlesss commitment in this regard.
IG – Don’t things change along the way?
LH – laughing* Many times—this is manufacturing, after all. There will always be exceptions and unforeseen challenges. The sooner these are identified and communicated, the sooner we can reach embraceable resolutions for all.
IG – So that’s DIRTFT.
